Clovis North High School, the newest of the 5 Clovis high schools, in north Fresno Ca opened in 2007 and continues to be one of the Central Valley’s top schools.

While still growing into its multi-million dollar facilities, there’s been numerous advantages to being the “new school” in the Clovis Unified School system.  Clovis North students reported having more opportunities, smaller classes, and better facilities than their previous schools (Fresno Bee, 2011).  Clovis North students excelled academically, too, receiving the the highest state scores in the Clovis Unified school system for high school, beating out perennial academic powerhouse Buchanan (API Scores: 877 to 860).
