The Old Fig Garden area of Fresno is the area sandwiched between Old Fresno High to the south and Fig Garden Village/Northwest Fresno to the north.  This area of Fresno is situated on a county island in the heart of Fresno and is home to some of the most classic homes and properties in all of Fresno Ca.  A short walk or bike ride to Fig Garden Village makes this a prime location.  The “Old Fig” area, as it is called by locals, is home to Fresno’s historic Christmas Tree Lane – one of Fresno’s most attended holiday traditions.

How soon can I buy a home after a Short Sale? This is one of the many questions that Fresno home owners ask us before they decide to move forward with a short sale on their Fresno Ca home.  Many times it is one of the last obstacles to  moving forward with a short sale.  In one case a family waited and debated over a year and a half whether to proceed with Short Selling their Fresno home, which ultimately delayed their buying options a year and half longer then needed.  The sooner you can move beyond your fears and hesitations and get the information you need, the sooner you will be able and ready to buy again when your credit is repaired.
